Registration Listing

2026 Tackle Football

This year, our teams will play in the Metro Youth Football League (MYFL). Games will start late-August and go for 7-8 weeks. As for changes, we will also offer a “limited-contact” (padded flag) program through an adjacent league for those players not quite ready for tackle. Formation of tackle and limited-contact teams will be determined mostly by registration numbers and age, but also with input from our high school and youth coaching staff on skill level. Our goal is to foster a love of football and to maximize opportunities for development! Stay tuned for important dates and info (parent meetings, etc.) Any questions in the meantime, feel free to reach out! Contact info is below (prefer phone calls to email or text, but open to all forms). Our Plan is to have a 3rd/4th grade team and a 5th/6th grade team. This year we are introducing a 7th grade optional season as well. An email was sent about that recently.

Team formation will be dependent on the number of participants in each grade level after registration. In the event there are not enough registered participants for a certain grade level those athletes will be provided with the available options within FCYSO (padded flag) or receive a full refund.

**The football committee reserves the right to adjust teams/have age groups combine or swing players based on need and numbers in a given age group. This will be based on the evaluation process and number of registered players. (Possible team formations: 4th grade, 4th/5th combo, 5th grade, 5th/6th combo, 6th grade)**

Cheerleaders will cheer at all FCYSO Tackle Football homes games and FC Jr. High Football home games. The season will start early to mid-Aug and run through mid-October, pending final FB schedules.

Cheer pictures will be scheduled with The Copper Fox Studios - date TBD.
