For the 2026 season, we are looking for additional members to join the Concession Stand Committee. Serving on this committee fulfills your summer ball volunteer hour requirement. Committee members help support concession stand operations by signing up for opening and/or closing shifts throughout the summer season.

Overview of Responsibilities and Benefits

Volunteers will sign up for opening or closing shifts using a shared Google spreadsheet. We hope to add several new members to help distribute the workload and make the commitment manageable for everyone.

Serving on this committee will count toward the entirety of your required volunteer hours.

You can sign up for an OPEN and/or CLOSE shift on the same day or different days! Sign up for what works best for your schedule.

• Pick up bag from bank before drive through closes
• Arrive 15 min before the volunteer shift to do the following…
  • Unlock
  • Start iPads & Hot Spot (Start drawer in Square)
  • Put money in drawer
  • Start Popcorn
  • Pull Blackstone out and start heating up
  • Answer questions for volunteers
  • Tell 1st shift to let the next shift know to check the closing procedures and for any notes
    
    Close
• Arrive 10 min before the volunteer shift ends…
  • Last shift should start closing procedures and cleaning (popcorn machine, blackstone, dishes…this is in the concession stand procedure manual and part of the volunteer shift duties)
  • Ensure warming cabinet is off
  • Take note of any low stock (Text to Annie)
  • Money in money bag
  • Close out drawer in Square (turn off iPads & Hot Spot)
  • Lights off & Lock
  • Money bag to the bank drop box (or designated person if the next day is Sunday and there are games scheduled)
